Our Founder

Tanya Freedland, MPS, LPCC, LPC, LADC, CAC I

​

Tanya is dedicated to research and delivery of empirically informed clinical care for individuals with complex co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. Tanya has co-authored several treatment manuals for serious mental illness and substance use disorders, has created digital treatment and training platforms and delivers training workshops and consultation to mental health practitioners in the US and Internationally.

Tanya has been in the behavioral health field for over a decade. She holds a Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Integrated Behavioral Health with a minor in Integrated Therapies and Healing. Additionally, Tanya holds certificates from the University of Minnesota in Addiction Studies and Applied Business and founded the ARCS Institute to realize her dream of improving treatment and reducing stigma for those with mental illnesses and substance use disorders by directly connecting research and practice.
